Effective July 1st we must temporarily suspend our telemedicine services.
Due to the abundance of patients we are seeing on site for illness, injuries and CoVID-19 tests, in addition to our even more than usual facility cleaning and disinfecting during this pandemic, has required us to suspend Telemedicine visits temporarily. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to be able to offer the service again soon.
Suncoast Urgent Care now offers TELEMEDICINE ! We understand that concerns about entering a health facility may deter members of the community from going to an urgent care. TELEMEDICINE OFFERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET WITH A PROVIDER FROM THE COMFORT OF YOUR OWN HOME.
Telemedicine is available during our regular business hours and is covered by the insurances we accept at no additional charge to you. Please note that, in some cases, the provider may feel an in-person, physical examination is required to complete the evaluation. If this is the case, there will be no additional charge for the visit, however, any tests performed MAY require additional fees.
Telemedicine patients who are requested to come to the clinic for an in-person examination will be given an appointment time. This allows for a quicker and more streamlined visit and it will significantly reduce time spent in the facility.
Rest assured... Suncoast Urgent Care takes limiting the spread of COVID-19 seriously and follows CDC and Health Department guidelines when cleaning and disinfecting our facilities !
